All of God's Creations
This blog was fun for me, I'm a person who loves the outdoors. What I actually started to see in the Bible are so many things we have around us today. It's all awesome from the tiniest bug, to the largest whale that swims the our vast oceans. It all has purpose, even the things that aren't pretty and others that are ugly and stinky. It's just a glimpse into the world we live in, and all the great things we come across each day. ~Stop and take time to look around you.~

Not a house cat
If
you're a cat lover you'll like this one. No matter if you have a house cat or
an outdoor cat. They all remind us of the huge cats we see at the zoo's and
rescues. I could never understand how someone could kill one so beautiful.
Never in my lifetime would I ever think to do such a thing. Just to have a
trophy on my wall or furry rug. Some use their parts for medicine. I just can't
think of how so many people can destroy something so amazing.
We have community cats. You
might be wondering what a community cat is. Well, they are stray cats that
someone is responsible to care for their needs, such as food, water and
shelter. In the city where I live, they
are humanely caught, spayed or neutered and while asleep they snip a little
piece of their ear off. So, if anyone of those cats are caught in a cage, we are
supposed to let them go. Even Homeless people deserve a pet just as much as
anyone of us.
There is an awesome rescue in the city by us, called (Big Cat Rescue) you can get pretty close but not as close as we will be able to get to those awesome cats on the new earth. I love animals and gardening. Imagine hanging out in your yard gardening having your cat laying in the grass next to you but instead of our little domestic cats it will be a big cat!
It's hard to wrap your mind around, but it's true. It's going to be awesome. Just think how you play with and love your domestic cat. The big cats on the new earth will be just like that and they won't hurt you or want to eat you! I think it’s going to be pretty amazing to be able to be right there petting them, walking with them, and you could even lay down and take a nap and use them as a big fluffy pillow. A big cat like a lion, leopard, panther, bobcat any kind of those big cats. I'm not exactly sure how many of the different kinds of big cats will be there but I know there will be some. I can’t wait to find out.

A Soldier's Wife (Video)
a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.
We turned our backs on him and looked the other way.
He was despised, and we did not care.
it was our sorrows that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,
a punishment for his own sins!
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the Lord laid on Him
the sins of us all.
yet He never said a word.
And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,
He did not open his mouth.

Purple Mountains
I am so grateful for the film crews that bring the beauty of all those mountains to us by using drones, helicopters and even hot air balloons with cameras attached to them to capture nature in its truest form, all the wonder and beauty they processes.
There is a song that most people especially younger people have never heard or they don’t think about it much anymore. It has a line in it talking about, “Purple Mountain Majesties.” It’s called “America, the Beautiful” Back to my original thought, I am in awe at the photos and documentaries I see of all the amazing mountains around the world. I found that BBC America has a documentary just on mountains. All you need to do is click on the link below and it will take you to BBC America. I want to leave you with this one thought. How could mountains be so different in their part of the world unless God created them just for us to gaze at the wonder of it all.

Lizard and the Mouse
I thought this might be interesting to you who are
Lizard and reptile lovers. And even if you don’t like them you might be
surprised like I was when I was reading to find that they are talked about by
name in the Bible. As far as I can tell this is the only place I have found
them mentioned this way. God even talked about the mole and mouse as well.
I find it fascinating that they were named thousands of years ago and that is what we still call them. It’s funny in a way that they aren’t talked about more often in the Bible. I’m sure that they were everywhere being in a warm desert area. I have to say my favorite is the gecko, we have plenty where I live. I especially like the suction cups on their feet and their big round eyes. Okay I have two favorites the other one is a chameleon. You don’t see them much anymore. I used to catch them just to watch how they could change color.
As I read this I was glad to hear that God was pretty much telling everyone not to eat them that they were not for food. Mostly what I want to say is it’s pretty awesome how God created the largest of the lizards (Alligator) to the smallest like we see in our gardens. They all are different and serves a purpose just like He created. So next time you are where these creeping critters live, really check the out. They are fun to watch, but be careful if you want to catch one, they have a strong jaw. I think God created some truly unique living creatures.
Leviticus 11:29-30 (NKJV)29. These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the mole, the mouse, and the large lizard after its kind;
30. the gecko, the monitor lizard, the sand reptile, the sand lizard, and the chameleon.

Ancient Grains and Breads
I would like for you to think about all the
different things we eat that are made from grains. There are so many items that
we would not be able to list them all. Grains are one of the world’s largest
food supplies. I could not imagine if we didn’t have just a few of the
different types of grain we eat. The foods we buy would change dramatically.
There is a great story in the Bible about going through a famine. It is regarding a man named Joseph and how with God’s instruction saved many people by gathering up as much grain that was available to be stored because he knew a famine was coming to all the area. Because Joseph stored up all the grains, he was able to sell it to those who had none. You can find this story in the book of Genesis chapters 41-45.
I know that many areas are having fires, flooding and just no rain at all and it’s happening all over the world. These events can affect crops in many ways. Fires obviously burn the crops and too much water drowns them. Too little water and they don’t grow at all. However, God will see to it His children are taken care of by supplying their needs. I realize that there are those who believe their wants are a need and that is not the case. Needs are shelter, clothes, and food. Going back to God creating grains, grains were grown, harvested, bought, and sold just as it is today. That in turns gives people the means to buy what they need to live. Therefore, it is a circle that goes all the way around and meets right back to a field of grain. Without grains we would not have as many choices like we do now.
Joshua 2:6 (NKJV)6. But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order on the roof.
Joshua 5:11 (NKJV)
11. And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, unleavened bread and parched grain, on the very same day.
Judges 7:13 (NKJV)
13. And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said, “I have had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.”
Ruth 1:22 (NKJV)
22. So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. Now they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest.
Jeremiah 41:8 (NKJV)
8. But ten men were found among them who said to Ishmael, “Do not kill us, for we have treasures of wheat, barley, oil, and honey in the field.” So he desisted and did not kill them among their brethren.
Ezekiel 27:17 (NKJV)
17. Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded for your merchandise wheat of Minnith, millet, honey, oil, and balm.

Edible Seeds and Nuts
I think that pistachios and almonds are one of
God’s creations most people like to eat or use in other food such as baking
recipes, on top of salads and ice cream, or just eating them by themselves. I
was a little curious about how many different edible nuts there were in the
world. And here’s a list that I was able to find, There seems to be 53 edible nuts
that we know of. (List Located at Bottom of Page)
It’s amazing that the same nuts that were used thousands of years ago still have the same name. It’s obvious that they must be good for you as a healthy food. If we ate more things like this we may stay a little bit healthier.
There must have been a lot of trees that grew these two kinds of nuts. I was able to only find verses about pistachios and almonds but that does not mean their were not more types of nuts in other areas of the world. As the list above shows there are many nuts that can be eaten. For the purpose of this post the subject is about nuts that were talked about in the Bible. I do all I can to find scripture to show you that God created so many things, we just don’t think about them as being a creation.
I wonder how they used these two types of nuts. Maybe a King sitting lounging on some big pillows eating them from a bowl designed of gold. Or maybe someone just walking past a tree that has some ripe nuts and pulls a few off and cracks them open to eat as they walk. Use your imagination to see if you can come up with something similar. People are basically the same no matter what time period they lived in. We could eat healthier and just maybe live longer.
11. And their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and carry down a present for the man—a little balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.
Exodus 37:19-20 (NKJV)
19. There were three bowls made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower—and so for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.
20. And on the lampstand itself were four bowls made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower.
Numbers 17:8 (NKJV)
8. Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.
Jeremiah 1:11 (NKJV)

And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
