By Land or By Sea

When He spoke there became land and oceans.

Land water and sea, all three of these topics are so incredible. Each makes up this earth that we live on. However, if you look very close at each one by itself you could say they were in their own little world. Just look at all the unbelievable Pictures that people from all over the globe has taken while out and about on this earth we call home. Land has so many beautiful things, too many to mention. And in the ocean all the colorful creatures big and small.

What about lakes that are large enough to kick up a storm that would match those on the open ocean. The amazing part of it all, each of these different and unique parts keeps everything in balance and flowing. Each has its own purpose and does what they do every day by God’s directions. It has nothing to do with (Mother Nature). God is who He is and always will be.

Job 9:8 (NKJV)
8. He alone spreads out the heavens,
And treads on the waves of the sea;

Proverbs 8:29 (NKJV)
29. When He assigned to the sea its limit,
So that the waters would not transgress His command,
When He marked out the foundations of the earth,

Ecclesiastes 1:7 (NKJV)
7. All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full;
To the place from which the rivers come, there they return again.

Jeremiah 5:22 (NKJV)
22. “Do you not fear Me?” says the LORD.
Will you not tremble at My presence,
Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea,
By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it?
And though its waves toss to and fro, yet they cannot prevail;
Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.

Amos 5:8 (NKJV)
8. He made the Pleiades and Orion;
He turns the shadow of death into morning and makes the day dark as night;
He calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the face of the earth;

The LORD is His name.

The Earth’s Circle

When He spoke the northern and southern hemispheres were created.

Earth’s equator is an enormous circle; it is 24,901.5 miles in length. Can you imagine a perfect circle that many miles long? One name that has been given to the equator is the, (Great Circle). That circle runs along a sphere that cuts it into two equal halves. It is always spinning on its axis at 1,000 miles per hour. It is a good thing we have gravity or, well we do not want to think about that one.

 We know that everyone likes a certain time of the year. Most of us like the fall season most of all; each of us has our favorite. However, all those who live close to the equator must like it hot all the time. Near the equator there is basically one season-permanent summer. There is just so much information about the equator and all that goes along with it; we could never begin to tell you. We just wanted to point out that God is so precise about His creation that every planet spins and stays in its own orbit right where He put them.

Job 26:10 (NKJV)
10. He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters,
At the boundary of light and darkness.

Proverbs 8:27 (NKJV)
27. When He prepared the heavens, I was there,
When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,

Isaiah 40:22 (NKJV)
22. It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

The Sun and Moon

When He spoke the day and night were formed.

We decided to not write our opinions about this subject but instead give you some information that was discovered by NASA experts many years ago. A family member that has since passed away passed on the article we used in this blog to us. It holds so many truths and proves what happened in the Bible to be true.

 First you should read the passage I (Joshua - Chapter 10, Verses 1-15). This will give you some insight as to how to compare the article to the scriptures. You will find it fascinating to say the least. We inserted the article at the bottom of this entry. We apologize for its condition. It is very old.  Some say that this story is false but whether it is or not. It is still interesting to see in the bible how God stopped the sun. Keep an open mind; you never know where it may take you.

Genesis 1:16-18 (NKJV)
16. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
17. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
18. and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Job 36:30 (NKJV)
30. Look, He scatters His light upon it,
And covers the depths of the sea.

Job 38:12 (NKJV)
12. “Have you commanded the morning since your days began,
And caused the dawn to know its place,

Job 37:21 (NKJV)
21. even now men cannot look at the light when it is bright in the skies,
When the wind has passed and cleared them.

Ecclesiastes 1:5 (NKJV)
5. The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it arose.

Jeremiah 31:35 (NKJV)
35. Thus says the LORD,
Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night,
Who disturbs the sea,
And its waves roar
(The LORD of hosts is His name):

Matthew 16:2-3 (NKJV)
2. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say,
‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red;
3. and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky
is red and threatening.” Hypocrites! You know how to discern the
face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

Starry Nights

When He spoke the constellations were formed.

I for one can say I am thankful for the people on this planet of ours that have the ability and knowledge to build the technology needed for exploring the universe. Whether they believe it or not those are talents that only God can give. It’s beyond our natural reasoning to think we can see billions, not millions, but billions of miles in space. Just think of what is out beyond what we have had the opportunity to see already.

 It truly takes a person’s breath away, especially when we see the photos that NASA has so graciously given to us to view. We can see things through their enormous telescopes that we would otherwise not know were out there.

What we will be able to see when we as God’s children get to Heaven will be like nothing we’ve seen before. Our universe is so vast we can only imagine what is out there such as new planets, stars and maybe even other galaxies we don’t know about. So the question is, How could all of that just come into to being? Well, by an awesome creator. Just think of how detailed it all is, every planet keeps its correct distant at all  times. They each have a specific color and climate. And earth being the jewel of them all. It is the only one that can sustain life as we know it. All that we have ever needed to stay alive is right here. So the next time you look at those photos from NASA, really look at them and think about where all that wonderful beauty came from, its not from a big explosion it’s from a God that loves us.

Genesis 1:14-15 (NKJV)
14. Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years;
15. and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.

Job 9:9 (NKJV)
9. He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades,
And the chambers of the south;

Job 26:7 (NKJV)
7. He stretches out the north over empty space;
He hangs the earth on nothing.

Job 38:31-33 (NKJV)
31. “Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades,
Or loose the belt of Orion?
32. Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season?
Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs?
33. Do you know the ordinances of the heavens?
Can you set their dominion over the earth?

Psalm 90:2 (NKJV)
2. before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

Psalm 147:4 (NKJV)
4. He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.

Proverbs 8:26 (NKJV)
26. while as yet He had not made the earth or the fields,
or the primal dust of the world.

Creator of all Things

He was, and is and will be forever.

It does not surprise me at all that very few people believe in creation, let alone God anymore. It has become so bad, it's actually unbelievable. Everyone is trying to take God out of everything, especially creation and make Him to be nothing at all. He is (our) creator and He created all things! Evolution is a very debated topic, but it can't stand up to the truth in God's word. God existed before anything

 First, let us look at the three words that are involved in the highly debated topic. There is create, creative, creation, and then there is evolutionary. These are very fascinating words. Create is defined as original or originate. Creative is defined as having skill to create. Creation is defined as the universe or something original. And of course evolutionary means slowly developing.

How can it be there are more words to describe what God did and only one to describe evolution? We are in no way close to being experts in this subject. We just know that there is so much more proof written in the Bible about creation and we want to share it with you.

Everything and everyone evolves but that does not mean we evolved from nothing or evolved from a squiggly thing coming out of a pond or whatever evolutionist believe. It’s quite the opposite. God wonderfully created all us and He loves us. All we have to do is look around us to see how creative God truly is. That is what I want you to see in this post. Look pass your own little world and see His world.

Genesis 1:31 (NKJV)
31. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 2:1-7 (NKJV)
1. Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them were finished.
2. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
3. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work that God had created and made.
4. This is the history [of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
5. before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;
6. but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

Ecclesiastes 1:4 (NKJV)
4. One generation passes away, and another generation comes;
But the earth abides forever.

Job 36:24-25 (NKJV)
24. Remember to magnify His work,
Of which men have sung.
25. Everyone has seen it;
Man looks on it from afar.

Job 37:7 (NKJV)
7. He seals the hand of every man,
That all men may know His work.

Jeremiah 10:11 (NKJV)
11. Thus you shall say to them: “The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”

Job 37:14 (NKJV)
14. “Listen to this, O Job;
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.

Psalm 111:2 (NKJV)
2. The works of the LORD are great,
Studied by all whom have pleasure in them.

Psalm 139:13-16 (NKJV)
13. For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15. My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

Psalm 148:3-4 (NKJV)
3. Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
4. Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
and you waters above the heavens!

Isaiah 40:28 (NKJV)
28. Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.

Colossians 1:16 (NKJV)
16. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Revelation 4:11 (NKJV)
11. “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”
